Specialist Leaving Certificate Russian Language Exam preparation course
This is a two-year programme created in line with the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Russian syllabus framework for those who intend to undertake the Russian language exam. Get ready for your exam! Take your time in learning basic communicative proficiency, grammar, and punctuation. Consider your level and possibilities! Become more advanced, improve your writing, reading, speaking, cultural awareness, and more… Study in classes, take private tuition, study with us from home via Skype, or choose a blended learning option.
Rocket Russian
This programme is designed for busy young people, who love challenges and fast pace environment, specifically for these who didn’t get enrolled into the Leaving Cert Classes two years in advance. The programme is intended only for those young individuals who are native speakers of the Russian language. The goal is in a short period of time to get them to a level in Russian that has grammatical proficiency. We try to motivate youths to get their writing and grammar to a high standard and to tackle some blank spaces they might have in order to achieve a more natural flow of their written contents. As most of our programmes, it has many elements to it such as, writing scripts, recording their own voice (for self-evaluation), making educational videos, preparing history/science/geography projects, writing personal journals on the elements of their learning process, conducting coherent dialogues, translating texts into Russian and vice versa (into English), presenting projects to other age groups, making analytical comments under a variety of posts, and being able to stand for their opinion, discussing books that were read as per programme, getting involved in flash mobs, poetry, writing and singing competitions.
Youth club for Russian speaking children
Youth of different levels of the Russian language are welcome to take part in our youth club. A Variety of activities are organised for those who get involved: cultural awareness via non-traditional forms of education, songwriting, singing, presentation and performance skills practice, video and voice recording, dance, panto, parties, projects in collaboration with Russian cities, bonfires, festivals, involvement into competitions locally and overseas, fun projects, excursions, walks and much much much much much much more. Find new friends and learn Russian with them interactively. Pick and choose!
Career accelerator
We invite youth of advanced and proficient level of Russian language to avail of our pilot programme that we have introduced in 2018. It has many elements to it, including writing scripts, recording their own voice (for self-evaluation), making videos projects, preparing portfolios, conducting coherent dialogues, transcribing, making online profiles and submitting applications, practising interviews, creating presentations, conducting researches on career opportunities, getting awareness of a Russian job market in Ireland, Russia Federation and around the world, getting introduced to interview process of organisations that hire Russian language proficient specialists, getting introduced to negotiation and problem solving, leadership, organisational forms, enterprise and innovation.
My Brand (New!)
This course is a first step into the world of business and self-promotion. This short course is designed to support a group of young people who wish to get more information about starting an enterprise, brand development and considering starting their own business based on a personal hobby or interests.
Together programme (New!)
This is an advanced course for those who completed the “My Brand” course. This course is an introduction to available online business opportunities. The main goal of this course is to support young people in developing their business idea. There are practical seminars and classes, group help, networking, collaboration, skills sharing and mentoring at the heart of this programme.
Book club
Russian book club, for native language speakers and those who feel that could only avail from practising their listening skills. Our club is for these who just love Russian authors and literature, for those who wish to get involved in discussion, debates, who wish to adhere their skill of standing by their own opinion and get better at public speaking, rhetorical skills and critical thinking. This is the place for you!
